Day 9: Cold showers will make you stronger

Photo by Tim Wilson on Unsplash A Cold shower is intentionally forcing the body and mind to endure a "slight" discomfort. Unless you are the ice man or you are taking a shower in the tundra, there is no way you will suffer any harm from a cold shower. So, all it takes is getting over the "resistance" of the mind. The benefits are huge. First of all, the numbness that follows a cold shower will inevitably lead you into a calmer, clearer state of mind. Second, accomplishing a tough task in the morning, leads you into a more joyous state for the rest of the day, ballooning your self confidence. Finally, there are a lot of documented biological benefits like glowing hair and skin, increasing blood circulation, helping in faster recovery post a workout etc etc. My advice, intentionally switch on the cold side of the shower for a few seconds. See, it will not kill you but will definitely make you stronger.
